Cool Augmented Reality app that helps you find a quiet place to work. It reviews noise level, power outlet availability and coffee quality (if it’s a coffee shop).

Not out for the iPhone yet, but coming as soon as “Apple offers the full support for AR that countless developers are waiting for.” Stuffy office? Who needs it. :)

So I understand the value of looking up a place to work before traveling there. It’s like reading reviews on Yelp before dining at a restaurant. What I don’t understand is the Augmented Reality part. If you are close enough to a place that your camera phone can see it, can’t you just walk in and see how loud or crowded it is? Why do you need an app for that?

Soon enough, our iPhones will be living our lives for us. There will be an app that allows you to communicate to the person sitting next to you. One that tells you if your food is still too hot to eat. And when it is time to go to the bathroom….

oh hi, future. welcome to today
