Son of a..

As grateful as I am when someone on Tumblr likes or reblogs my own photographs, every now and then comes along someone who sees fit to eradicate any information that I made it, and it pisses me off.

Sure, I can understand that some want a “clean” look to their blog, without a bunch of text under the photos, or when you’re reblogging something with five other names inlined that reblogged it before you and it just looks messy.

Since I first noticed people doing this, I started adding an url back to my tumblelog to at least increase the chance of something remaining with those who don’t give a shit about giving people credit where credit is due. For the most part, this has worked, most of those who take out the caption will leave the url alone since most often it’s not something that affects the visual presentation of their blog.

But some, and this is a very small minority, not only take out the caption but go to the length of removing the link as well, actively removing credit, which is practically a slap in the face to say the least since they’re doing it in full view of me. If you’re going to be such an asshole, at least do it without me knowing about it.

I’d say, if you’re going to be such an asshole, can you do us a quick favor and choke on your breakfast?
