While we’re at it
Can someone check the liner notes for Sand in the Vaseline: Popular Favorites from Talking Heads and find that passage where David Byrne talks about the electric guitar’s natural sound? It’s one the great bits of artistic aesthetic I’ve read, and does much to explain their music. I used to have it, but sold off or gave away all my cassettes (yeah, cassettes) and haven’t been able to find it since.
Anyone?
