Neither civil nor equal
“…opposition to gay marriage has no logical foundation in a civil society that is premised on equality.”
This supposing ours is a civil society that is premised on equality, which is false. The fight for gay marriage, once won, will help in moving us toward civility and equality. Until that time, I would suggest proponents of equality get a little uncivil from time to time.
